Caves Ouvertes des Vins du Valais — 20th edition

The headline wine weekend of the year. More than 230 wineries across Valais — including most Sierre, Salgesch, and Crans-Montana producers — open their cellars from 11:00 to 18:00, all three days. Tastings are free with no obligation to purchase. SBB offers reduced Brig–St-Gingolph tickets, and free shuttle buses depart Sierre Tourist Office on routes 1 & 2 covering ~25 cellars (Chippis, Miège, Venthône, Noës, St-Léonard, Flanthey, Ollon, Corin, Loc) from 10:30 to 17:30. PALP Festival opens proceedings; Sébastien Tellier closes. Free entry to the Salgesch Wine Museum on May 14 and 16, with German-language express tours at 15:00.
