Château de Villa is Valais' temple of wine and raclette. This 16th-century mansion houses over 650 wines from across the region, the official Valais Wine Museum, and a renowned restaurant serving traditional raclette with 5 different cheese varieties.
The château's wine bar allows you to taste from the entire collection by the glass, guided by knowledgeable staff. It's the perfect place to understand Valais wine before visiting individual producers.
The Wine Museum on the upper floors traces the history of viticulture in the region, with artifacts dating back centuries. Entry to the museum is free.
